The RI-CT060-EW Series forms part of a growing family of easywire® solid core single phase moulded case current transformers from Rayleigh Instruments.
These transformers are suitable for monitoring current flow in commercial, industrial or utility applications. They are designed to connect with any easywire® meter and are available with Primary current input ranges from 60A to 100A.
Built-in limiting circuitry ensures the secondary of the easywire® current transformer is always under load and clamped to a safe level. This means that the output connection may be safely disconnected while under load.
The RI-CT060-EW Series have been designed for ease of installation and are supplied with both DIN rail clip and fixing feet. They also have clear markings moulded into the case to indicate the correct direction of primary current flow to minimise installation errors.
