The VIGIL is a stand alone safety switch with an electronic coding system using our process ACOTOM 3. This allows the detection for the opening of the doors on dangerous machines. It is the first self-checking switch in Cat.4 according to EN 954-1, which integrates its own manual reset, detects its own failure and locks itself, preventing the closing of the safety lines. Housing in polycarbonate, it provides two NO free potential contact lines, independent and isolated from the decoding system, allowing user safety, and one NC static contact, indicating the state of the switch. The lifetime of lines allowed is 3.5 million electrical operations to 2A and 50 million mechanical operations.
